They may also ask you for a bank account statement for address proof. Once you apply for a pan card it takes around two weeks for the pan card to reach your residence. You may track it on the official utitsl website with the help of your application number.

APPLYING FOR A PAYPAL ACCOUNT

You need not not wait for the pan card to arrive to get your pan card number. Its on the site when you try to track your card with your application number. Go to the paypal site and create a personal account. Feed in the pan card number. Put in your real address and all other details they ask you. Once done…. wait for a few days till they verify your pan card. Also they will verify your bank account by sending two small deposits like rs 1.03 or something. You need to enter the exact amounts in the paypal verification centre. You are done. Now you can receive money from anywhere to your paypal account
