If you delete a file from your hard disk it will remain readable until the physical sectors on the disk are overwritten.
This might turn out as security hole. Anyone who has access to your disc can recover the data you deleted before.
To erase a file permanently and safely you have to overwrite the content with random patterns before deleting it. To do this use a erase tool like Supershredder.
After launching the program a little window will show up. Drag any file on that window that you want to delete. Release the mouse button and confirm the deletion. After that all data will be shredded.
To fit the software to your needs, click on Config. Here you will find the option Create SendTo Shortcut. After activating it you can erase a file by right clicking on and by choosing SendTo - SuperShredder
